2008 Pontiac G8 GT OEM A/C Compressor
What I am listing is a used A/C compressor from my personal 08 GT.
This compressor is the one the car came with when it was brand new. The vehicle was wrecked and the 2nd owners did the body panel repairs and they did repairs to the A/C system like replacing the condenser. They charged the system and the A/C still wouldn't work. I purchased it from them so i am the 3rd owner. They told me they thought there was a leak so they took money off so I could get it repaired. The dealer told me it was the compressor and I took it to another trusted service establishment to get a second opinion. There was no leak, the system was fully charged and full, so I replaced the compressor. I inspected the other compressor and it was the clutch hub on the front that broke so the compressor was never under any load. Condition of the compressor: • Pulley has worn area but nothing that would prevent it from working properly • Electrical circuits on the compressor have been tested and have passed • Compressor Clutch Bearing is in good condition • Rubber Clutch Dampeners have been cleaned and inspected • New one piece design clutch hub has been installed (Santech Ind. Part # MT2382) • The compressor has pag oil already in it from being in operation but before installing it should be drained and refilled with the right amount (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) • MSRP from GM is $798.58 • Compressor has roughly 15,000-20,000 miles, other ones on eBay at the time i listed mine are going for $550-$650 with more miles I'm asking $499.99, I'm a little flexible on the price. Free shipping Compressor is also listed on eBay. If you want to do a transaction via PM's then I will end the auction early.

Who is in warm temps right now and needs an A/C compressor? Its suppose to be -17 degrees in Indiana tomorrow. Even with the cold temps, running defrost uses the A/C for dryer heat.

If it's still available, I would like to see it once. Infact, I would also like to call my ac tech guy, as he could test the compressor and if it's working fine, I would buy the compressor at the spot. The technician from AA is professional enough to know if it's working great or not. I think, you wouldn't mind that.
