The pic of the front end shows a pre-2014 Camaro SS (2010 to 2013 plus the carryover ZL1 design retained for the 2014 and 2015 model year). The grill does not match that of a 2014-2015 1LE. Something smells very fishy!

PS: the pic of the rear does look like a 2014-2015.

EDIT: Oooops! I stand corrected. As others have pointed out below, the grill in the picture is a 2015 non-RS. Sorry for jumping to the wrong conclusion. A gem indeed!

Perhaps the dealer didn't install it or the customer asked to leave it off ??
This is also likely, the car is missing the oil separator as well. Maybe the previous dealership sold the car without installing those items.

Dealer sent me the build sheet and car is most certainly a 1le, but looks like spoiler and separator didnt get installed. I always run a catch can on LS engines anyways, so not too worried about that. I am dissapointed about the spoiler but will negotiate that down.

Oil separator installed also by dealer and if i am not mistaken it was optional.

To verify if it's a true 1LE you can check the trunk for the rpo codes.

You'll find 1LE, FE6, MM6 & MN6

Looks like it is a 1LE (Red Calipers and correct steering wheel/shifter etc) but something has been done to front end for sure. The grill is not correct.

If you were closer I would offer to sell you my splitter. If you buy it.

Guys, if the front end doesn't match a 2015, then I dont want to touch this car.
By the time I transport it to Texas, I am gonna spend 27k.
I have been staring at pics and I see that the grill does look different but wonder if this is because this car is non-RS. If it doesnt, then I am gonna probably eject, and keep looking.

Guys, for the record I work nightshift, in case you are wondering why I am still posting away. i have just spent some time looking at used 2015 1le and it looks like non-rs cars have a different grill than rs cars. I am guessing this is why this car differs from others in the front. Feel free to correct me, but every non-rs 1le I can find has same grill as the one I am chasing.

The grill looks correct to me. What's throwing me off in this picture is how the headlights look like they're pushed so far out. Maybe it's just a illusion? The oil separator kit is standard with the 1LE package. From what I understand, dealers would leave these in the trunk and did not install these as they are for "off road use only". These are easy to obtain whether new or used fairly cheap. Now that front splitter is quite expensive. If there's no holes on the underside of the bumper, only 2 possible reasons come to mind. Either it was never installed (not far fetched) or front bumper has been replaced. Another thing to look at are the tires. Make sure they are in good shape with plenty of life left, which they should with that mileage unless the cars been tracked or rode hard.

Well I admit it....you learn something new every day !!

The non RS grill is different than the RS. I thought it was just the chrome strip that was different.
You can see in these 2 pictures that I took at the factory (in the lot right after they were built) in Oshawa a couple years ago. The non RS has an extra horizontal bar that runs the full width across.

Looks like you are OK with this one. If it were me I would look for any damage or telltale signs of damage underneath. Everything else can be explained so you actually might have found yourself a gem !!

What's wrong with the front end other than the missing splitter? It's just a Non-RS appearance package 14-15 front end.

Here's a magazine test pic of a Non-RS car:

Thanks guys.....I ended up passing because after alot of "thunking" I really want a 2SS RS car and after shipping/adding 1le front splitter I was gonna be in this one for 28-28.5k.....and still not have the HIDs and halos, which would have run me another $500-$800 more than likely......If anyone has a low mileage 2015 lying around (no black) feel free to PM me....thanks all for your help. I know what car i want, just have to find her.

I'll assume you're checking the Classifieds here on the forum for cars for sale.

If you're on FB, there are a few specific 1LE pages. And, owners often post or share the For Sale ads.

Also, if you post what you're looking to buy, owners will come out of the woodwork. lol.
