transmission mount.
I have a 1994 Chevy Camaro V6 3.4L Car. I will be checking the transmission mount on this vehicle and also taking out the drive shaft to check the u Joints. I found two sets of Jack stands but Im not sure which one Is the best one. The craftsman Jack stands will cost 85 bucks with shipping, which I cant really afford or want to spend and the torin ones will cost 50 bucks with free shipping. The craftsman one can lift 21 Inches and the torin ones can lift 16.5 Inches. I like the torin ones because the lift bar Is more flat to hold wider bars but the craftsman lift bar Is u shape. Would the 16.5 Inches be enough space to take out a drive shaft and possibly change a transmission mount on a 1994 Chevy Camaro V6 3.4L Car. I only want answers If ya think ya might know for sure because I dont want to buy the Jack stands to find out that they wont be high enough. Then.

Either one will be fine.
If you have a sears near you, why not go pick them up and save on shipping? Even a special order item can be shipped to the store and picked up to save from shipping charges, but they normally stock jack stands. |
