No more taking it back now, I am done and a happy Camper again!
That's awesome.....I feel your relief.

Yeah very relieved, maybe I need to instruct the dealer on how to adjust these adjustments they claim don't exist.

I don't have any pictures right now, and it's raining with not a good forecast right now, but if you look down inside where the arms are you will see what looks like a bolt with a plastic button on top of it. There are two of these on each side. One is close to the opening just below the side arms and when the top is down nothing touches these, those are the up stops. The other one is deeper down below the first one that is the down stop, they determine how far the top actually will go down and they should be in contact with the top frame when the top is completely down.
Each one has a 10mm locking nut on the back side. Make sure they are adjusted equally on both sides. On mine I had to adjust all 4 all the way in to get the top to sit correctly. I think in other threads people have posted pictures of these stops, I will look to see if I can find any and post them here.

Excellent. Thank you. It is unreal that the shop did not know about these adjustments. Glad you were able to get this figured out.

Nice days are getting more frequent now so top down driving is getting more frequent too. My top is doing better, it is going down far enough now to get the tonneau on and it looks good. The more I cycle it the better it gets. Here is what it looks like now.

Congratulations there Mr. Angry Bird....you sure have been through the proverbial GM lion's den and back, good work!

You and guys like TramTwo really blazed the trail to make it a walk in the park, in regards to getting warranty work honored. I know I won't forget it.

This website has been a Godsend for all of us with information and helping out folks. Whenever I go to the service desk to buy something or ask a question, I mention the "Camaro 5" website, and most of the service writers are at least aware of it, which is good for us !

Take care

Yeah I appreciate those that fought before me. I feel sorry for some of them that got thrown under the bus and are now so soured on GM and these cars that they are lost forever...
