Question HELP!!! HOW TO REMOVE LICENCE PLATE LIGHTS

I want to replace with LED LIGHTS. I've checked and cant find an answer. This seems so easy but I dont want to wreck the housing.

I've unclipped and removed the light housing for the 2 rear license plate lights, now what?

Do I unscrew the bulb unit (which I am unsure of) or do I seperate the clear and the black housing apart (which I am unsure of)

Please let me know and surely we should put stuff like this in a sticky for all to see.

BTW, Ive changed out the dome and the trunk lights with gorgeous blue LEDs. I will do a thread when I'm done all my mods together.

Thanks

Here is a section where Spike is asking for write ups. Maybe you could do one.

And in this section you will find the DIYs that are avalaible now. I tried to do one but I'm not a good explainer.

OK, got my trunk bulb out and LED in. Have to push the bulb out from the contact end. Wasn't really sure but it's a done deal now and looks a lot better than that yellowish tint. Now, all my bulbs are LED and should be a lot cooler in the burn mode.

Interior looks sweet with the LED's at the entry below the black rubber seal and the LED footwell lights!

They have a direction arrow on the housing. Hard to see, but it's there to help you unscrew and tighten.

I love the Camaro5 forums. There is nothing that I want to do that someone hasn't already done!
