NEW TIRES - WHAT TO GET???
I have $2k (including install) to drop into for some new tires.
I really didn't like the way the stock Pirelli's performed and now that they have worn out I NEED new ones ASAP for the summer. Can you guys recommend me what you would buy and why? Thanks so much!

For every day driving, I just went with Hankook V12. Wish I would have done this a long time a go. The car drives and rides completely different now. The ride is much smoother, and handles much better without bouncing around.

For highway and some spirited driving I love my Toyo Proxes4. They grip and handle really well. They're priced well too!

Also, these appear to be "directional" tires. So, as I understand it, they cannot even be rotated side to side - likr the staggered Pirellis. Correct?

He didn't say what size wheels he has but since I am in Houston as well, I'd like to know where his Pirelli dealer is at. I'm not entirely a big fan of them since I do feel like they wear out pretty quickly but they are pretty grippy and I guess with a treadwear rating of 200ish I shouldn't expect to get too many miles out of them lol
