Question NEW TIRES - WHAT TO GET???

I have $2k (including install) to drop into for some new tires.
I really didn't like the way the stock Pirelli's performed and now that they have worn out I NEED new ones ASAP for the summer.

Can you guys recommend me what you would buy and why?

Thanks so much!

Curious as to opinions.
Of course, I'm way more limited since I need 21s

For every day driving, I just went with Hankook V12. Wish I would have done this a long time a go. The car drives and rides completely different now. The ride is much smoother, and handles much better without bouncing around.

For highway and some spirited driving I love my Toyo Proxes4. They grip and handle really well. They're priced well too!

I was looking at the V12s until I read some reviews on Tire Rack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....toModel=Camaro .

Also, these appear to be "directional" tires. So, as I understand it, they cannot even be rotated side to side - likr the staggered Pirellis. Correct?

He didn't say what size wheels he has but since I am in Houston as well, I'd like to know where his Pirelli dealer is at. I'm not entirely a big fan of them since I do feel like they wear out pretty quickly but they are pretty grippy and I guess with a treadwear rating of 200ish I shouldn't expect to get too many miles out of them lol

The stock Pirellis can't be rotated side to side
