Not happy with Chevy dealerships

I go to Chevy for maitnance every time I need an oil change. And they do inspections and everything. So I started getting this humming noise so I lift the car up and see the problem immediately. My rear diff has VERY little fluid in it. I made an appointment with them to check it out. I know for a fact I will need a new diff, do to metal shavings in it. The thing that makes me angry is they are suppose to check all fluids. Hopefully they warranty this for me or I'm going to be one pissed off customer... What do you guys think

No surprise here many dealerships hire kids as service techs that know absolutely nothing about our vehicles.

^^This^^ I have offer for FREE oil change and will not use it.

They are always trying to mess with something to drum up more work.

Car only has 41,000 miles. It's just annoying when they say "they inspect the car" and don't really do shit

Chevy is not the only dealership i heard to have these problems.... I do agree that they should have done another check... but like the guy above said, they hire young people who dont check everything that often. Or sometimes they dont check everything because they are in a hurry..

No harm done, just have them fix it and youll be good to go

Under normal services, the rear end fluid should be changed at 45K miles. I doubt they check it, unless they see a leak. But if you are close to a millage interval, it should be checked.

Yah but a dam tune and headers have nothing to do with a friggin differential missing oil.

Getting back to reality, the dealer DOES NOT check the actual fluid so unless they were changing it, it was never touched.
