Question SUPERCHIPS / FLASHPAQS ?? TRIED IT YET?

I've been thinking about dooing this since I got the car in June.

I have one for my Magnum and wow it made a big difference.

Has anyone tried it for the Camaro yet. What was your opinion.

They cost around $349, cost is not an issue but I just want to know if anyone has had any good or adverse reactions at all.

Here is a link I found

Well, I was thinking about it, but then I found out you cannot use the unit and custom tune/mail order tune. The only tuning you can do is canned tune. If you don't plan on much modding though, I think it would be fine. I know you can still monitor data , clear codes, etc with it.

I believe Jannity Racing will do up a tune on a Predator unit that you can use and them make changes to things later on giving you more flexibility.

Okay, so, ummm...I have this 'friend' who just happens to have the exact same car as I do with the exact same mods. 'he' put the superchips canned performance tune geared for 91 octane on his car this weekend. OMFG - MAJOR difference. Better gain than CAI and exhaust combined. I am very impressed. 'He' debated a full month about putting the tune on with the tuner still in the package for 30 days just sitting there staring at 'him'. Didn't know if it would be worth the risk. It was (he said). Tomorrow he will get some race gas and mix it down with supreme to get about 94 octane to try the 93 tune to see if there is a difference. California only has 91 at the pumps.
