Thumbs up TOOK HER OUT OF HIBERNATION

I just couldnt stand it anymore!!

Last November I wrapped her up, disconnected the battery, jacked her up off the ground, covered her in the GM cover. And left her in the drive way sleeping.

Well, now its summer in BC Canada (well it freaking feels like it as we should be in the -15/20c and we're in the +10s !!) I couldnt wait any longer to unwrap her and do a few mods.

Here is wat happened.

I did NOT put a battery tender on her as I disconected the battery, more to follow on this.

I connected up the battery again and slowly opened the door as I didnt want to damage the window if it didnt drop down.

It did drop down but it wont go back up all the way up. I found out this is normal and it has to be recalibirated. So I thought dang gotta read up on that, no you DONT!!

The car is sooo cool as soon as you enter, it gives you instructions on the dash how to recalibrate the windows. Im thinking, GM

Well within a couple of minutes I got a email on my new iPhone from ONSTAR saying one of my tires was too low. WOW!! By this time I am just

OUR72GTO suggested to lift the hood up and then crank the engine as the engine will not start but just mix up all the juices around for a bit then put the hood down and start it.

Well I did that and guess what, the car started first time WITH the hood up. No issues, no significant drain in battery, not even a long chug chug chug, just came alive instantly. I was impressed. Thank you GM. Thus, if you disconnect, I feel you dont need a battery tender over a few months.

Well I wasted no time at all go do some LED light mods. Changed out the dome, trunk and the two rear license plate lights. WOW what a difference. The LED dome light just showers the entire cabin so beatifully and makes the car look and feel twice as expensive.

I will be doing the footwell LED lights this weekend.

Also installed new Loyyds CAMARO SS/RS carpet mats front and rear. UNBELIEVABLE quality and feel and look.

also the Cup Holder Accent Brushed Stainless Steel looks very cool!!

Cant wait to do my Lambo doors, CAI, chip/tuner, and the rest.

Here is a list of mods that are going to be done soon listed from an earlier thread.

I'll get pics soon, but look at the pic on my link in the first post. It looks like that. It is a very easy mod and cheap and it makes the car look like a million $$$!

here is what and where I bought it from. Its really worth it. I cant stop going out to see it every so often. I love this car so much!!!

This package includes the footwell lights too. All the LEDs are really bright, almosts hard to look at straight. Very bright.

I just bought the objects appear to be losing decal for 4 bucks off ebay. I was laying in bed reading your post on my iphone and when i saw your pic i laughed so hard I had to get out the laptop and see what that cost. OMG that will be a nice hidden treat for my passengers when they look over and read the words. I bet most will just ignore it cause they are so used to seeing the regular disclamer. I'm going to have to keep your thread in mind cause you really have some great ideas. thx
