2010 Camaro documentation / brochures

Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I have to say a big to everyone on this forum. I've learned an enormous about of information on here and as such have been able to make some well informed decisions about my order (IOM 2SS/RS w/ black rally stripes on order BTW ). I have to say that I'm much further ahead then I would be if I have just relied upon my dealer (nothing against him, great guy, just not well informed, no initiative etc etc... ok enough about that - that's a rant, errr.... topic that is well documented here).

So here's the reason I decided to finally get off my @$$ and post.

I plan to keep the 'Maro a long time. I will drive it, but it's going to be a summer driver only and extremely well cared for. Ultimately I'd love to pass it along to my son. The upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction has got me thinking about how to ensure it's a valuable collectable down the road. Proper maintenance is the obviously number one. But good documentation is a close second. The more documentation the better. So I am trying to assemble a comprehensive archive of as much "official" documentation I can get my hands on. Given the modern electronic age, there is plenty of unofficial stuff out there, add-ons and related stuff (good example = the Dale Jr. SEMA car press release kit). So obviously one could go crazy with this. But offical brochures etc. are what I'm after.

Below is a list of documents that I have/need (I'm sure I'm missing plenty) and a few questions. Not sure if this has already been discussed in any depth - if so my appologies. I'd love to get everyone's input so I can build my archive. Particularly if you have or know where i can get any of those listed.

Thanks in advance

Hard Copy Brochures:
- 2007 NAIAS launch press kit (Need)
- Introductory brochure (6 page fold-out style - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...light=brochure) (Need)
- Color chips (waiting for dealer)
- Others?

PDF Brochures
(are any of these available in hard copy?)
- Specifications V.1 July 2008 (actually no version number on cover) (Have)
- Specifications V.2 ??? 2008 (Need)
- Specifications V.3 ??? 2008 (Need)
- Specifications V.4 October 2008 (Have)
- Order Guide (no title on this one, 2 pages showing std/avail options & colours) (Have)
- Salesperson Reference Guide (Have - but would love to get a color version, can only find the b&w scan)
- Initial Ordering Workbook (Have)
- Others?

Car specific documents
- GM AutoBook full spec order sheet
- Order WORKBENCH print out
- Window sticker
- Final dealer invoice, payment documents etc.
- Factory build sheet (does anyone know if you can even get these anymore - used to be able to)
- Photos on day of delivery of course
- Manual and all other documentation that comes with car (onStar, XM, blah blah)
- First & second thankyou letters from GM (NEED! if they every arrive...)
- Others?

Stuff still to come

Welcome! I have saved just about every piece of information about this car since the concept was shown. Definitely a great idea.

Don't get me started about other Camaro items. I'm still waiting for someone to produce a decent 1:18th scale model to add to my collection (I have about 150 currently).

I'm going to add these letters to my list. Anyone in Canada get either of these letters yet?

Go to any auto show with the Camaro there. That's where I got mine, just asked the GM rep watching over the Camaro.

Here's the salesperson reference guide in color: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6040

Have you checked the "Guides, Manuals, etc." forum?? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=40

Also check the stickys at the top of the Ordering Forum: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10

Might be some things in those subforums that you're still looking for.

Corvette factory tours allow buyers to get their buildsheet on the spot.

Then Corvette Museum will recreate them based on computer info.

I bet someone will recreate Camaro ones too, in case we can't get the originals.

Perhaps they will be under the backseat cushion like the old days, or some were on top of the fuel tanks.

Maybe our friends in Oshawa will let us know.

The PDF in the above link is the black & white scan I spoke of. The color version in the thread is just a series of JPEGs. Even the link buried in post #120 is jpegs. Last resort to save those, but I'd like a PDF if possible.

Checked those out too. Nothing new there that I can see to fill the gaps.
