I'm sure Scott would lend me the flag pole for a visit out west.

That would be cool if Scott would let us use the pole.

Just talked with Gary a little while ago and mentioned to him the possibility of having the cars shipped out to Phoenix preferrably in an enclosed trailer. My guess is if we can get enough cars to fill a trailer (6-8?) we could probably ship from Buffalo to Phoenix fairly reasonably. Maybe one way and drive the other or both ways? Just a thought.

Hi will need to convince Rick and the Kingston crew.
I'm sure it would be a blast to drive out there but it is pretty far for me. I have a couple other trips in mind. Hey maybe the ACC can make a trip down to North Carolina or something. We can run the Blue Ridge Pkwy and the girls can shop

Hey hey now... I don't just lat anyone use my pole ya know! What kinda guy do you think I am?!? But seriously, if I don't need it then I'd be happy to have it make the trip out there. I got it on ebay, they cost about $100 with shipping etc.

Hi Rick,

Remember Ga.... That was a big nooooo.... we convinced her once last year... we'll do it again.

Beside the trip to CF5 is much cheaper than buying a convertible camaro ;-)

Hell, it's 'ONLY' 2800 kms for me this time. I might consider going!

C5F1 was 3600.

Jeez I sure hope C5F3 is in Wyoming or Nebraska or something. I know C5 is mostly American based, but it's hillarious when people say that like 600 miles is too far.

I like this idea. Count me in. Just gotta convice Karen now. Missed the first C5F (car hadn't come in yet) so I'd really like to make it next year.

Enclosed would definitely be my preference if we're going to do it. Would you drive to Buffalo, load em up and fly from there? There would be a wait in Phoenix for the cars to arrive then. Or would you rent a passenger van or something in Buffalo and drive down? Is the idea to decrease the time needed for the trip or the wear and tear on the vehicles? Or both? Thoughts?

Vegas is about 5 hour northwest of Phoeinix and the drive from Sedona AZ to Prescott is unbeilevable.

Did it on the way to the first C5F and it was a blast.(Flagstaff to Prescott) As for to far to drive come on guys there is no such thing as to far to drive these cars. This time around it is only going to be 6000kms. Char and i have already said we are going as long as i can get time off from work.Konrad and i had a great time last year and that was 14500kms. Like a said before and i will say it again just get in the car and drive.
