Youll be fine, its on a parking lot not a track. You may get up to around 50 mph or so but mostly not. The rest of us can give you rides so you can get the feel, and as Steve said, I'll go my usual slow pace so you can see easily what to and when....lol
you do need a snell rated helmet also

We usually meet at 7:30 at Carls jr on Valley View near the track, get there at 8, sign in and it starts at 9 and runs all day. You can arrive and leave as you need to though.
