I think tires for tracks are as much a saftey issue as performance...those nt05 get greasy at road course temps.

Dannie should be a Michelin salesman
Then he can't use them for autox, needs a 200 min treadware tire

Exactly.

It looks like I am going to have to stick with my Stock, 9 inch all the way around for now, so going to check the other options.

For the peace of mind from having insurance, resulting in a quicker lap time, a couple hundred bucks is a pretty cheap "mod"...lol....

Too bad about the Modulare's being only street certified, especially for what they cost.

You could run on your factory 9's with 275/35-20, which is 27.6" OD, which will lower your Camaro down by 1/2", still a larger OD that what Donnie is running on the 19's which I believe is 27.1 for a 285/40-19...and they are only $332 a piece, you can use street and track....

Blake, if all the events I run didn't require 200TW tires, I'd be right there with you on R-888's or NT-01's...but since I can't, Michelin's are the best of the street tires, and yes they should give me some free shit for all the press I give them, but they don't....

Willow is pretty wide open, so if I was going to run without insurance, that would likely be the safest place to do it....

If I run Laguna Seca in March, I will definitely have track insurance as don't want to have to worry...

Fontana has walls, that is not somewhere I would want to be without insurance...
