I'm wondering also what else we need to do if we already have HUD?

Take out old HUD, put in new HUD. Of course the entire dash and center console has to come out. It's Plug and Play.

I thought I read somewhere that the 2014 HUD showed G forces and some other stuff that isn't on the 2013s.

You'll have to remove the whole dash, including the radio, gauges, and steering wheel.

Any new info on this while I have my radio and center vent out? I have a 2013 and would like to swap it out for the colored HUD. I haven't seen any news from Ofer except it's on his site now for I think about $550 or so.

Can you be more specific? Do you also have the 2014 DIC?

I did not install the HUD in my dash only put it on the floor with some one looking as i drove it, i did look to see it was on before driving, The DIC is still working on, there is some thing in the 2010-11 that is not the same as newer year cars.

Any news on this HUD Ofer? Need a project to do over the holidays, just not sure about tearing the whole dash apart!

I looked into this project for my 2010 SS,
I was quoted $800-950 for the install.
This was from 2 separate and highly rated install shops in my area...
Just wanted to put a ballpark figure out there for people wanting to get this mod.

Now for someone like Ofer, who has done this many times before, it would probably be a lot less.
