Beautiful car and great find. Ive had a lot of 4th gens and want to try something different, but for cheap performance hard to beat.
Yeah, the pull hard method would have worked if you didn't want to reinstall the factory grill back. They you will have 3 aluminum nuts and 3 push tabs just moving around in your front bumper.

Just got the car back from a paint correction and ceramic coating. They had the car for about 7 days and put many hours getting the paint looking right. Also scored a perfect set of GM ZR1 wheels.

I love me a 4th gen just as much as the next guy on this site, but I wouldn't have gotten rid of a ZR1 for it. I miss my old 2000 Z28, but not enough to part w/ my 2011 SS.

Well, I sold the ZL1 for a number of reasons. The payments, I have a few things id rather pay off. I have many hobbies and those payments were eating into them. You watch Dave Ramsey enough and he will have you selling everything you own lol.

Loooooking good; But why sell the ZL1?

I had to have both. I will admit, they are a handful at times. Good luck with it.

Welcome from LA.

Welcome back to the Gen 4 Family. I know this was a older post but just seeing it. I recently sold my 04 SSR and purchased my 97 Z28. previous owner took excellent care of it garaged and never driven in bad weather. only had 20,000 miles on her when I purchased her in 2017. Love the Gen 4, these babies look fast just sitting still. The previous owner did install on of the newer digital "Multi Function" sound systems BUT that wasn't for me. Purchased a New Monsoon OEM Radio with the original cassette and connection for the 12 disk that was still in the back. Wonderful sound. The seller is OEM-Radios INC. if anyone is looking for a OEM system for their Gen 4.
