New here with couple of ??

Hello all. Been lurking around for awhile and finally decided to buy a Camaro once the ground thaws but got a couple of questions.

1. If I go with a 1SS, is the gauge package factory installed, dealer installed or buy it and install myself?

2. If I go with a 2SS can I get cloth seats instead of nut warmers? Do not intend on driving car in the winter.

3. Is it possable to order the car without that damn shark fin on the roof. That has to be the ugliest thing on this car.

Well ok, make that 3 questions.

Thanks

You can get the 1SS with the 4-pack gauges, but they're a separate part. The dealer can bolt on that part before you arrive.

The 2SS comes with leather, so you have no option. I'll be getting the 1SS with the 4-pack and PDIM mod. You'll save a little money this way.

The shark fin stays, but you could probably get a customs shop to relocate it or hide it better.

It's good to have you on the forums.

That four pack of gauges is kind of useless and takes up useful room for having a place to put your phone. Though it does look pretty cool and nostalgic - that's about it.

Yes the guages look cool but I have to say I've looked at mine maybe twice since getting the car.
