21" wheels..anyone get to keep the 20's
I was just wondering for those of u that ordered 21" wheels, did u get to keep the 20" that already come on the car? Technically, well from what i figure ur paying for both because when u add the RS package it changes from the standard 19" to 20" so u pay for that... then u pay extra again for the 21". So u pay for wheels twice. Just curious on what is happening out there with anyone who ordered 21".

The 20's are yours to keep if you upgrade to the 21's. I am going to see my car for the first time tomorrow, the 20's will be on it, so I am going to do a really long burn out on the 20's and then let them switch the rims.

i got the painted 20s as a spare set with my 21s. someone told me that if the dealer doesn't give you the 20s, someone walked off with them

FALSE!!! ... you have to check wtih your dealer. i ordered the RS package and upgraded to the 21" rims and instead of giving me the 20s also, he said he took the difference between them off the msrp and i WILL NOT get to keep the 20s ... i just found this out a few days ago because my car is still on order... so check with your dealer because assuming that you will get them is false

There is no CORE CHARGE to the dealer from GM. Anything that is happening is at the dealer level.
They should have given you at least 1500.00 |

well discount and les schwaub tire offered a customer of mine $200 per SET so Im not to sure about all this wheel stuff. I say if my customers want em take em so I dont have to store the damn things!

And does this include ordering the car from factory with 21" rims you get to keep the 20" ones?

maroSS, yes. there was a black SS getting prepped when I picked up HER car, they were just put the 21's on the black SS, and the 20's sitting there, I asked and was told they get to keep them. Great for them
