For those of you who have Showstoppers, how long did it take to get them from your date of order?

I have AAC Ghosted Sidemarkers and I get a lot of compliments on them. I haven't had any problems with mine. I've had them on for about 4 months. The Showstoppers look great too, but I wanted them to be completely ghosted.

189.050 Kentucky Statute on side marker

If you live in KY. there is no law which requires you to have reflective side markers showing on your vehicle, they can be ghosted. Furthermore any color between white and Amber is allowed as a side marker light in the front and must be red in the rear, if the color is a little more orange it would be very difficult for the state to take this to court and it would be thrown out by any judge that is in his right mind, unless your violating other laws at the time and being a nuisance to the public. Check out YOUR states laws and know your limitations before installing or using any after market lighting products.

That seems like a long time. And you still don't have them. Wow!

Considering they are quoting 2-3 weeks for delivery.....
I ordered mine april 5th....and they still show to be awaiting fulfillment, the last update was that they were going out early this week ending. I would say adjust your delivery expectations drastically if you order these. The wait continues....

I didn't even install my AAC sidemarkers due to obvious poor quality right out of the box. The LEDs didn't line up and the paint was horrible. They sent me three different sets claiming they personally inspected the last set before shipping to me. The paint was still bad, but they said that was the best they could do. They claim they have switched painters since then, but at the time they were bragging about how good their painter was. Plus, they didn't see a problem with the quality at the time since they personally inspected them. I bought Showstopper's and the quality is excellent. My opinion is they also look better. AAC lost me as a customer due to how they handled my situation. They also tried to get me to pay for shipping back to them.

I had AAC's sidemarkers for about 2 years. One of then had condensation in it so it was returned. Next thing was the clips were showing wear. Although the colors are technically legal, the sidemarker itself has no reflective quality, making them actually illegal. I did really like them while they were on my Camaro. I sold them purchased a set of sidemarkers from a member here and sent them to Showstopper's. So far (about 3months) no issues with them. They aren't as bright as AAC's but I like them just as much.

We are a little behind due to the popular demand but we are taking care of orders as fast as possible.

Forget AAC even exists. They sell junk and the people that work there are liars and once they have your money they could care less about you or what happens to their junk.

I'm glad that it was pointed out the AAC front side markers are not yellow, I would not have liked that. I actually saw one this weekend with the ACC and thought it looked cool, but didn't think it looked "right."

Thanks for your replies everyone.

Since AAC creates their own sidemarker housing, the clips tend to break easily because they are weak.

Another thing, in case you care, the showstopper's are technically legal because they retain the reflective aspect of the sidemarker if you don't go ghosted. Another thing is the more yellow look of the front leds of the showstopper ones. You're likely to get harassed a lot less with the more yellow look in front and the clear red in the back as opposed to the orange in front and red in rear of AAC. Just do a quick search and see for yourself what you find about them.
+1!

Also, I agree, shipping took a while for Showstopper, but they are handmade and painted, by one dude, and made to order. They are worth the wait.

These will last forever, and have a good person backing them up if something goes wrong.
