New Goodies Installed

Well I've owned her for about 4.5 months now and just hit a 1000 miles so it was time to start adding some mods. Loving the car so far! This past weekend I added some ZL1 side rockers, Apex Scoop, Rotofab Washer Bottle, CAI Intake and a Apex Catch Can. Also changed all the fluids: Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Oil, Redline D4 ATF and Redline 75w90 Reaf Dif. Some other mods that I have done a few months back where Xpel Ultimate Protection Film (full front bumper, portion of the front fenders, impact area behind the front and rear tires, mirrors and gill area), Big Worm smoke tail lights and side markers.
The CAI really wakes up the NPP exhaust.

The ZL1 side rockers look really, really good . In the 3rd picture down, the rear end doesn't look like its missing something to carry the look of the rockers like the ZL1 rear end. That's my reason for not buying a set for my black 1LE. You have me thinking.......

Thanks. I think it looks good & it doesn't look incomplete without the ZL1 rear diffuser. I do like the side look of the ZL1 rear diffuser, but from the rear I think our rear diffuser looks better.

Agreed,I really like the changes to the 2014, front and back.

OP, did you have the splitter wrapped also? Was it a pre cut piece if so?

Nice car btw.

The splitter was not wrapped. The rest of the kit was precut then fitted by the installer.

Thanks

Looks great. Did you remove the SS badges? Kind of looks like it, but it is hard to tell from the angles you shot the pics at.

Which CAI did you go with? I am still trying to decide which I will purchase with my Jan bonus...

I put a hertiage grill & removed the bowtie from it. I still have the SS emblem on the rear. I'm thinking about replacing it with an 1LE emblem.

The intake is made by cold air inductions. From what I read it seems to be the one people like most & the best gains. Excellent fit & finish. A lot of people also like the rotofab intake.
