Manual Shifter knob

posting for a friend; Looking to Replace my auto shift knob with a Manual knob, I know they sell an adapter but I forgot who and if I remember correctly its ridiculously over priced $100+. Any other way of doing this?

That DIY is just adding the boot, not replacing the shifter knob.

Davidd_ss, to replace the knob with a manual type you must purchase the replacement shifter to operate the latching mechanism. CFD sells them. Here is the link to his thread.

Yes, they are priced above $150 if he isn't having a sale. They are well worth it though, it isnt a trivial device and the craftmanship is top notch.
