Traded my 2LTRS today for a Cadillac

All, yes it's true. The 2011 RS was primarily (sic) my wife's vehicle, but I enjoyed it also. We took a 1200 mile trip just a few weeks ago and, at 6'5", I never felt tired or uncomfortable. It all boiled down to. that she had difficulty with the visualibility. Probably not enough reason for many to trade, but need her to feel 100% safe in whatever that takes. SO, we traded for a 2011 Cadillac Escalade. The Caddy had 4K and virtually is like a new vehicle. We are in our early 50's with two grandchildren, so I guess Nan and Gramps finally have something to take them to Wally World. Gramps has 420 hp and 480 ft lbs or tq for hauling hinnie and the travel trailer. Nan has cooled seats and a DVD player in the 2nd row for those boys, ha ha!

Never really passed the newby status here, but I thank everyone that helped with my questions and concerns, espically Jeff with GM customer support. .

I'm not sure why people feel they need to announce they are leaving this site, as if people are reeeeally going to miss you.

Hope it holds up better than my 2008 CTS, looking to trade ours in this week. Reliability is HORRIBLE

I'm not leaving DarkneSS, just wanted to let folks know what I traded for and say thanks to those here who helped me when I had a question or concern. BTW, like the caps on your avatar;(SS). Do you have something in your garage that is an SS that you're not showing us, or are you one of those people that put SS badges on your 1lt?
