I have been using racing brake rotors up front and rear for a couple of years and no issues.

I have racing brake rotors as well - very high quality rotors.

Blued them a few times - they always came back to normal after minimal use.

Just found these:
https://baer.com/14-2010-2015-GM-Cam...e-2302064.html

Emailed to ask for weight and ring replacement cost but I wonder if they consider them disposable 2-piece like ZL1 fronts. RB is too overpriced.

Got the email back
The rotor assemblies (rotor ring, hat and hardware) in the 2302064 Eradispeed+ weigh 19.5lbs each. Replacement rotor rings run $227.50 each. So 2-piece for 700 and replacement rings for 500, a crap ton cheaper than RB.

Is that for the front and rear? The front should weigh more.

No they're different sizes and this thread is about rears. They do have fronts available though.

Does Essex offer a rear kit? They mention it on page for the fronts, but not anywhere else.

Just my opinion

I used Baer on my 1995 Ford Thunderbird. It was a great kit that worked very well. The prices have gone way up to compete with Brembo and Racing Brake. I now use Racing Brake and have had great luck with both their steel and carbon ceramic kits. Do it right the first time and spend the extra money and be happy. When it comes to brakes don't suddenly decide to become frugal.

Find a set of Z28 rear hats and then get a set of C7 corvette Grandsport/Z06 iron rotors and an transfer the rotors from C7 hats to Gen5 Z28 hats 700 bucks'ish.
