I've got the 1 1/2 ton and haven't had any issues: http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...ump-60569.html

I have a 2011 2SS with less than 60,000 miles. My clutch went out and I sent it to a transmission shop. When I got my car back the check engine light is on and the code reports a knock sensor. My engine power is gone and it hard to idle but they say that they only touched the trans and clutch. Does anyone have any idea what they might have done to cause this? PLease help

I would say your Floor Jack is too small to have anything to do with your Power Loss!

Costco has a nice looking 2 ton model as well. Seems like it is cheaper than Harbor Freight, but it's partially steel.

This is what I use, much safer than any metal/aluminum jack by itself.

I can still fit another jack in there just in case for extra support / peace of mind, but there's no need, I can store this thing for days on end without issue and it's solid as can be.

By the way it's cheaper, not that I'd sacrifice price for getting crushed by a Camaro, but heck it's a perk.
