Ess system and dont look back. Turbos are not quite as fun on the street which is where we do most of our driving. Belt slippage isnt a thing with the ESS kit and massive power is available by simply changing the head unit and pully down. Turbos have a crap ton more plumbing and are much more complicated to install and work on. Turbos also quiet the exhaust not quite a bit. Just my opinion, take it for what its worth

Not sure about the not quite as fun on the street comment... what specifically do you mean? Example

800rwhp is a modest goal... and definitely can be supported by a SC. Some kits have better tension setups.

Agree 100%

At idle, yes... the exhaust is slightly less than if I had straight piped headers (without the turbos inline). The sounds a turbo camaro makes during part throttle and full throttle driving makes any other type of FI on these cars sound inferior IMO. The whistle the turbos make at part throttle is insane. When the gates open at WOT the exhaust exiting the the tail pipes is inaudible... sounds like a jet plane.

Almost every turbo car ive driven or been around was way too quiet. Turbos are mufflers. They quiet the note down as well as cam lope. And what i mean as not as fun is the initial turbo lag. Stop light to stop light, a blower blows the turbo away. Sure once turbos get going they pull like a freight train, but they normally come in so hard you go from dead ass lag to uncontrollable traction issues. Like i said to each their own. Some like turbos, some blowers. I wouldnt fault anyone for either choice. I just know what i prefer and thats what i can recommend

My neighbors think mine is pretty loud, but I don't want a car that sounds like uncapped headers for street driving. I'm not sure how the PD guys get any traction from a dig on the street. Mine blows the tires off pretty quick unless I roll into the throttle. PD guys seem to get better times at strip, have less issues and look better.

Keeping the hot side from burning things up is a pain and there definitely seems to be more of a learning curve in getting turbo HP to convert to low ETs. However, I can run HPDEs all day and never break 205 on the coolant temp with the stock radiator.

I won't argue with that...

I do love the feel of extra displacement and a large centri. The cubes get it into the sweet spot sooner. It doesnt take more than 8psi to put a smile on my face. One thing that is kind of annoying, is two tial 50mm surge valves screaming in your ear at part throttle. It makes me mash the gas just to shut them up. Then the blower sounds like a jet. Plenty of noises for sure.

sorry about the wind noise

PD wins the street if you ask me, but PD wasn't in his question. 900whp or less PD. more than that personally i'd probably go Turbo. I really don't like the centri's but it is really only because I don't like their noise. Though Centri is easier than turbo IMO.
