Halo's as DRL

So I've always wanted my halos to be on like the daytime running lights.
I found this simple harness from gen5diy.com:

http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...s/halo-harness

Does it work on Canadian cars? (Fog lights are DRL lights)
Do they ship to Canada?
Has anyone installed this exact harness?

Ofer is fantastic to deal with and he most definitely does ship to Canada.

I converted the headlights on my non-RS car to AAC HID's with halo rings and Ofer was able to come up with a custom harness to correct ALL the issues I was having with the POS harness that AAC included with their kit.

I didn't use the particular harness that you're looking at since my car did not come with the RS package, but my halos come on with my fogs which now act as my DRL's.

Send him a PM either here on the forum (2SSRS) or message him through his site and he'll set you up with everything you need.

I need one of these as well. We removed my fog lights and mounted the transmission cooler behind the hole on the passengers side. The holes were covered with a black metal mesh. Now all I have left for DRL's is the halos.

I didn't install this harness but here is the thread I started http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...31#post5462431

The harness I installed allows the DRL to stay on with Halo's and full lighting. They do ship to Canada and it got here really quick. As someone else already stated Ofer from gen5diy is really helpful and is a member here at Camaro5.

Send him a PM and let him know exactly what you want your lighting system to do and he'll let you know which harness you need.

its just a patch wire kit from the DRL harness to the side marker light harness, you dont need to buy a "harness" unless you want to.

your front side markers, halos (and in my case DRLS) light up all the time.

the wire you will need is 5" long

Hope this helps.

Mark

I'm not one to try and wire it myself, that's why I wanted a quick plug and play harness

Order this harness today. I also noticed they had it on sale, $48 instead of $55

Why do you want the head lights on during the day??? I mean I have my Halos () on all day /night long by turning the light switch one notch. The HID will turn on automatically when it gets dark...

I don't want the headlights on, just the halos. This harness makes the halos act as daytime running lights. Much like the halos on the BMWs.

If you turn the light switch, that turns on your parking lights, so your tail lights are on as well. And then you have to remember to shut them off

OK....I see now...but you don,t have to shut them off...it will by itself.
I have the LED side markers lights so it looks better when on
