Headlights always on after windows tinted

I got 3M window tint in my car. 50 on the windshield and 40 on the sides and back. Now my headlights stay on even under a very sunny day. What is up with that?

Yep, the sensor is on the back of the mirror as far as I understand, could be wrong.

Have you made sure the headlight knob isn't in the on position?

Read Page 155 (6-3) in your owners manual. It shows the location of your daylight sensor.

The guy lives in Puerto Rico. If you have never been there or lived there then you won't understand. The place is hot year round.

I know a thing or two about Puerto Rico.

Try opening sunroof cover to allow some sun in. That could help.

Turn the headlight knob counter clockwise once to turn off the automatic light controls.

No sunroof.

What?! No sunroof in Puerto Rico?! Yeah I know but the car was imported like that.

And yes I've played with the knob and showed the dealer and they don't know why it is doing that. I know I can just turn it off but I wantit to work as it should.

Your not suppose to tint your Windshield

The Light sensor is on the dash or the mirror that controls the Headlamps.
