No, you're still wrong SSAINT.

I don't hate the Polaris. I find the Sling interesting, but there's not a whole lot of details out about it yet, understandably. That X-bow is the fugly thing that would look better crushed, IMO. Don't care how fast it is. Should have directed my "hate" more clearly. Either one should satisfy an acceleration junkie, though. But that X-bow...it kinda reminds me a little of a Cub Cadet lawn tractor.

I was only talking price and features about an LS and the Slingshot (SL model). Heck, a tank is lighter than most 5th Gen Camaros. So without any weight I would expect the Sling to have blistering acceleration. But you also don't have much in the way of safety, whereas the Camaro has all sorts of air bags, onstar, etc. That's why I'd be a bit concerned as to how the insurance companies would look at it, and more importantly, how they would price their policies with it. Might be surprised and it won't be that bad, who knows? Looks like it would be a lot of fun, but I'm not sure it'd be fun enough to want to own all the time.

Ahhh, I was born wrong, I'm used to it. Regarding safety, that's why they call this a motorcycle. So they don't have to put air bags, collapseable steering wheel, etc on it. When you ride a motorcycle you assume more risk then while driving a car. Same thing with this. They even have a disclaimer on their site saying just about that

C'mon, don't take it like that. I was just yanking your chain.

I agree, it's likely going to be treated as a motorcycle as far as licensing. At least 3-wheelers in SC are treated as such, this probably no different.

I guess when I see anything come close to the price of a Camaro, I'll default to buying a Camaro almost every time. Different strokes for different folks but dang I would buy more Camaros if I could.

When you get it, post pics/videos.

I've thought about the Slingshot but I have trouble getting past the idea that it cost the same as my 2014 1LS.

Most states anything with less than 4 wheels is a motorcycle.

I know in NC you would legally be required to have a motorcycle endorsement to operate it.

There's also a cheap commuter type 3 wheeler coming out called the Elio, it's obviously not performance oriented, but is enclosed, gets 84mpg and is only $6,800. It technically also requires a motorcycle endorsement but they're making headway changing the rules to exempt it.

That's street legal in the US? A bit too aggressive for me but looks like a total blast to drive!

Yeah I'd rather have the CTS-V in the video.

Classified as a motorcycle, so yes.

Pricey, but looks like a blast to drive. Don't know if I'd actually drop that kind of cash on it, though.
