Possible New Owner With Some Questions

Looking at a still NEW 2010 SS 6sp manual
Can I get some of the Pro's & Con's to the cars...
Believe it or not.. I am buying it to save on fuel..
I have done some searches, & looks like 27-28 MPG (hwy) is poplular if you can keep your foot out of it.. I have owned MANY fast cars.. really out of the "fast" phase in life.. Only buying the SS cause.. Hey.. why not eh.??
Can get the car for under $31K which seems like a good enough deal to keep me happy.. I am not into the HUD so I believe the 10 will be fine..
Mama said NO to a Corvette... so this is the next best thing??? I had to get something with 4 seats JUST IN CASE I ever had to grab the kids for some unusual reason... Last year like 5x tops...
Any & all info will be much appreciated..
Thanks in advance to all!!!

You'll won't even get a new 1SS for 31k, mine is about as bare bones as it gets and it was 32.5kn new.

It's not a bad deal. It's a leftover 2010, so see if you can deal some more. Not a bad starting point, though.

Also, don't buy it to save on gas. Expect 19-21mpg in everyday driving. Also, premium fuel is recommended, so factor that into your overall monthly cost.

The downside to buying a 2010 SS is that you can't get HUD (Heads Up Display) which is a really great/unique feature on the 2011+ cars.

Truck now averages around 13 & diesel... So even 18-19 plus .30 cheaper per gallon is a HUGE savings!!!

I've had my 2010 2SS/RS for 9 1/2 months. Here are the pro's and con's I've found so far.
Pro's
Hot looking car
Lots of power with the potential for LOTS more

A GREAT forum to teach you everything there is to know about these cars

Fun to drive
Very fun to out run factory Mustangs
You will always be noticed.

Con's

Still looking for one

Thats a good deal for a 1SS and a great deal for a 2SS. Goto Chevrolet.com and build a 1SS and 2SS Camaro with base options, you'll see what I mean.

I drove an 11 today.. & was pretty impressed with the power.. The salesman was trying to scare me I think.. (kids)

I am not interested in the HUD so I'm pretty sure the 2010 will work great for me..

A 1SS is cloth and the 2SS is leather. There is no difference under the hood.
