I jinxed it...I came home after an 18 hour straight shift and decided to do a walkaround of the house. Everything appeared to be just fine until I went into the garage to look at my baby.
A huge piece of wood that covers the crawl space to the upper area of my garage managed to somehow come dislodged and fall on my car. The entire passenger side fender is dented in to the tire. The damage area is bigger than a basketball and a half. Sigh lol! At least its only a car and the house is OK, cats and dog are alive and my family is safely out of town. Back to work I go for the foreseeable future! Yay! :P |

At noon today in Sarasota and Manatee counties 60% had no power. Worse there is no gas anywhere south of Valdosta according to gas buddy.
I boarded up the house and braced the garage doors, and took my family to Atlanta where we will be until there's gas available to make the trip back... |
