Really cool guy...he let me have them after the magazine came out. Most photographers won't.

Direct port is coming along nicely. ARD will be adding the pump and a few other things and I'll be ready to go. The CTS-V valve covers look great.

Owen also knows how important details are to me, so he picked me up some new black caps for my custom tank to replace the red ones. I really think it looks much better.

Damn man, it looks full under there! Nicely done. Question, is that a line lock next to your fuse box running back to the ABS pump?

Yes...and I never really realized how awesome it would be until I got to use it this weekend. It's so much better for burnouts!

Had a great time at the TX2K12 race this past weekend. The beast had her best run so far...10.66 at 131.27 mph. That was with a small 100 shot...no idea how crazy she'll be once the direct port is done. I also know I'm going to have to get my slicks before the fest.

After qualifying they paired me up in my first race against Owen. It was really a no lose for me. If he beat me it's expected...if I beat him I could give him a hard time.

Of course I didn't beat him. Even though he was only on his plate kit, he not only treed me, but his car was faster. He ran consistent low 10s all day.

I've got a bunch of video I'll be putting together, but here are a couple Mlee already posted up.

Visual Velocity was out there taking pics, and they got some really nice shots. Here are a couple of my race with Owen.

That'll be tough with all the extra weight up front...including me!

That was a qualifying pass. I'm usually pretty quick on the tree.

I'll definitely be ordering slicks and skinnies soon. Drag radials aren't going to cut it anymore.

Did you really have to bring my weight into this?

Kidding. Not really sure I want to start taking things off the car. I'm trying to maintain a balance between looks and performance. I'm not a serious drag racer and probably won't ever be. I think I'm going to add a few hundred horsepower and be done with it.

It would be something to see if you did get "serious" about drag racing......

Is not serious?????
