GM offers the Friends and Family discount I have used the "Friends" discount as well as Supplier.

GM used to offer the credit union discount same ans GM Supplier but ended that is early 2016 if I recall.

You can also get an educator discount if you're employed by a school or university. It's the same as the supplier pricing.

I have used the discount on a previous GM vehicle. It was the friends and family discount . The money off the vehicle depends on the model. My 2010 SRX was only $1500 but it helped.I was hoping someone would be able to part with one instead of letting it laps

It varies from vehicle to vehicle. Right now for a 2018 Camaro it's around 3%. It can be combined with other offers, so it is pretty much your starting point for dealer negotiations. If there is Bonus Cash or Rebates offered, it is stacked on top of the Supplier Discount.

I used the educator discount when I ordered my 2018 1SS and it came out to be about $1500. I did not even know about it until the dealer asked if I was a supplier for the discount and I said no. They asked what I did for a living and when I told them I worked for the local school district they said "Oh you get the educators discount!" It was a pleasant surprise.

Technically it doesnt, my Dad retired from GM with 30 years of service and I used his discount manyl times and the last 2 times I logged in and issued the code myself.

You have to designate who the person is when you issue the code and what their relationship is to the employee. That has to match the dealer paperwork when it is submitted to GM for the dealer to get reimbursed.

Once the family discount code is used then that code can be used for a friend for a supplier discount I believe.

Not true. The Employee / Family Discount has one series of numbers. The Friends / Suppliers Discount has a completely separate series of numbers.

I got the loyalty ($3000) and educator discount ($500) rebates on my son's 2017 RS, V6, A8, 1LT, sunroof, Garnet Red Tintcoat, on 9/30/17. They also took another $2700 off sticker. Told me when all was done it was less than supplier cost. I was very happy. Also drove 602 miles round trip to Arkansas to get it for me.

I would love a code too if anyone has one to spare. Kinda annoying that they have a bigger discount for someone trading in a Mustang than someone trading in a Chevy or GM product.
