I've been keeping my eye out for you you'd be amazed on what 5 grand can't buy you in today's used car market.

Unfortunately I'm more in the 3 grand market right now. Been finding quite a few 2000-02 Durango's, explorers, etc with anywhere from 150-200k miles. Trying to get my mechanic buddy to get check some out with me since I'm far from a gear head.

I bought a 2002 Escape a little over 2 years ago as a winter car. Mine had 118k I paid 5,000 but it was in pretty good shape. It's a little tank in the snow you may be able to go find one in your range easier than an Explorer or Durrango. Ford made a ton of Escapes.

Always a good idea anything with 150-200k is a gamble.

Since autopia had a sale, I took advantage of it and ordered some Sonus buffing/detailing towels for the daily driver and the Roush.

So what is the prescribed maintenance for satin to semi gloss paint. I prefer Adams products.

I was thinking a good cleaning and then quick sealant on top of it.

Yep. No harsh cleaners or ANYTHING abrasive and you'll be set.

Quick Sealant works very well on matte/satin paint jobs.
