Can't switch PTM modes
Recently I noticed that I can't switch modes when I press the button. When I push the buttons the light will change (from tour to sport or vice versa) but I can't access any of the modes no matter what I do.
A few weeks ago I did get a service stabilitrack message when I started the car but I've seen that happen when I let it sit and the battery gets low. Not sure if the 2 are related. How can I get my modes back? |

Disconnect battery and let sit 30mins. Reconnect and see if the helps.
Any ecu codes?

You are double tapping the traction control button and nothing happens?
I saw a thread last year I think where someone had same problem and the switch had been put back together backwards somehow by someone.

Push the traction control button twice...PTM should show in the DIC...Choose mode by pressing tour or sport buttons...Tour goes back, sport goes forward...

Nothing has been done to the car. It was working then at some point stopped. I'll try disconnecting the battery (hopefully tonight).

Well try the simple stuff like battery reset and maybe pull the switches from the panel and make sure no wires have come loose.

like others have said, you have to push the button to the right of sport mode twice so traction control is off ,or just hold it down for 7 seconds, then you should be able to see ptm modes

I have the same issue with mine. It stopped working after I had the car dynoed. I was going to take the cluster apart and take a look at the switch. I can turn the TC off but I can't choose any of the 5 PTM modes.

I bet they messed with the ride sensors under the car when they strapped the car down.....

Just a note here, convertibles don't get the PTM's only the coupes have them.
