Speed Engineering, no need to spend twice as much on the same product. Quite a few of us have them installed with no issues. Best price there is for a quality fitting header.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

QFT.............people who have never bought or dealt with Speed Engineering because they aren't sold by any forum vendors on here. Notice how 90 percent say either Stainless Power/Works, Kooks or ARH. They're all sold by the vendors on here. There's nothing wrong w/them at all and if I reeeeeally wanted to get them just to say, hey I have some of the best headers made, bar none, then sure I'd have some too. The point is they're cost prohibitive for people on a budget and unless ANYONE can prove by some significant reason that they're worth 2-3 times the price of the Speed Engineering headers besides the name embossed on them, I'll pass.

Ordered my speed engineering long tubes today. I was curious to see why they were priced so low, and I haven't heard anything but good reviews.

Got these Speed Engineering headers for $271 plus shipping from eBay.
Fit perfectly, very well constructed. I think they are a Kooks knock off design ?
Decided on using the GESI Green Hi-Flows too. Turns out they are made 5 miles from my house. Stopped by and bought them for $300 each cash.
Couldn't be happier, sound/power is amazing !!

I know all the other header manufacturers make very nice products but the cost (have the CDN US exchange rate too) was a consideration.

Cost of Kooks for example:
$1203.40 - headers
$1108.06 - Green Cats
Total $2311.46 (US $$) plus taxes and shipping to Canada.

In Canadian $$ that converts to $2950, without the shipping and taxes

I think you can see where I'm going with this. Like I said, Kooks, Stainless Works etc are all great products. I just can justify that kind of money for some hollow steel pipes.
