hey guys, just venting, let my 17 year old son borrow the car to go to a high school soccer game , then a party, curfew midnight ,so i guess ill be doing walk around inspection at 12:01. Why am I so stressed. Trying to be good dad but he ask to much ( I luv this car). Wife says its no big deal, I dont let her drive it much either. thanks for letting me vent.

Growing up my stepdad was the same way with his sweet 91 Z28. He never let me borrow it and all of a sudden one night he was like "Hey, why don't you take your girlfriend out in the Camaro tonight?" I drove it like a grandpa all night because I didn't want to do anything to it.

My guess is you'll still be waiting for him at 1:00. I can hear it now, "But Dad, I had to go get gas so you would have a full tank in the morning."

I wouldn't let my son drive my car. Maybe if I was in it but not alone. V8 and 17 year old boy don't mix well especially at night time after partying...
