ADM FPCM
I have a question for those out there that have installed the ADM FPCM. I am running a ZL1 fuel pump, ZL1 3bar sensor and recently installed a cam and ID850's. I decided to add the ADM FPCM after what I read about it on the forum. I am also Supercharged. Before installing the FPCM fuel pressure maintained 57-59psi normal driving and would drop lb for lb of boost as I approached WOT(ex. 11psi boost = 45-46 psi fuel pressure) This is the main reason I added the FPCM but after adding it I am seeing the EXACT same thing happen. Do I have a problem or is this as good as it gets with my set-up? I am @ 650RWHP... Bad controller? Bad tune tables? Anyone having success with this @ this power level / set-up and how did you make it work? I am reading fuel psi from OB port via gage or dyno..

Call Andy. Posting here is one thing, but I would call him. I use one myself and when the shop installed it my tuner (rhino79) said everything worked 100 percent...I'm only running the 62.5lb injectors with the vortech kit though.

The tune has to be written to use the new FPCM to the full potential. Andy can give the tuning specs to your tuner. Just call him he's a great guy to work with.

Send me your tune also. Scan gauges are not as accurate as straight from fuel rail |

I will try and get Andy and my tuner hooked up. My tuner has tryed twice to get it and called Andy once. My question on post was not bashing the FPCM it is "do I have a problem?" Will this work with my setup? I am dropping to low 40's fuel pressure on the dyno reading through data logging not just from my gages. This concerns me.. I just want to correct it if it can be corrected or understand this is the best it will function with my setup?

It should pressure at like 63 psi. If tune tables are correct then you may need a BAP too.

Re-word my question...
My setup.. Auto, Maggie @ 11.5 boost, Night Fury Cam, Zl1 fuel pump, ADM FPCM, Zl1 3bar sensor, ID850 injectors RWHP 652, RWTQ 675. Question.. With the FPCM what fuel pressure can I expect to see normal driving and then @ WOT? It may be doing its job.. I am just asking thanks, |

Depends on how it is tuned. Could command 50 psi at idle and 63 psi WOT, depends. If the tune wasn't changed, could be 58 psi all the time.

Sounds like the tune isn't modified to use the new FPCM, stop going WOT until you get the tune fixed.

Is anyone out there running this rwhp (652) on this setup (ZL1 fuel pump, ADM FPCM 850 inj.) successfully? What is your fuel pressure @ WOT?

It has to be programmed by your tuner or someone, it's not a simply plug and play, after it's set to ADM's spec's it should be 58 psi normal driving and 68 to 70 psi WOT, then you subtract whatever boost you are running so roughly 58 psi at WOT for your 11.5 psi boost level, should never drop below 55 to 58 psi.

I was told the fpcm/zl1 pump combo was good to 650...I wonder if you are flirting with it's limits. I planned to stop at low 600s (since I'm an auto with converter, numbers show lower on a dyno because the converter eats up power) with my modding circus. lol
