When I did the Sturgis run in my Camaro a couple of years ago, it was fun. But driving the Honda, I felt just as comfortable, if not more so, despite coilovers and 9000 rpm. Certainly more nimble. :P

So anyone around the Eugene, Creswell, Cottage Grove area? I live in Creswell and I see several Camaro's in and around this area.

Finally took my 1LE on the track last Thursday at Portland International Raceway. It's fun, but you feel every bit of its weight on the stock suspension. Proper suspension will be an absolute must on this thing. I will be looking to Motion Control Suspension in the future.

Being that the 1LE suspension is an upgrade from the SS suspension, is it possible for the suspension & ride to get much better or the SS suspension that bad?

The suspension isn't bad but when you are throwing the car around the track, it is a heavy beast. I had JDP do Detroit Speed bars and springs on my ZL1 and the car feels 25% smaller and handles a lot better. It never handled bad, it just takes it to the next level.
