How many of you?

How many of you bought your ZL1 new and still have it? How many of you bought your ZL1 used? Just wondering how many miles everyone puts on there car a month or year.

The one I have now I bought used with 21700 miles on it. It now has 23300. That is in 6 months.

bought mine new in 2017, it's a long story on how that happened..

anyway 2700 miles, honestly I want to drive it more, but just short on time. I will never drive it winter roads with all of the salt. So that limits me to April-Sept. Not a single spec of rust in under body anywhere.

I have an annual event where I drain the gas and put fresh in it w/stabilizer, and change the oil/filter. My tires will be expiring soon (or have already).

Bought mine used back in May of this year. Put less than 1,000 miles on it (just turned 29,000), that is going to change in 2020, I'm driving it every opportunity I get!

Wink

2nd owner 2 years ago just under 3K miles. Just past 15K now. It's parked, I miss it already. I spend my time now looking online through rose colored glasses. By Carmax values it's worth more now than I paid then.

I bought mine in September 2017 with only 16,000 km (~10,000 mi) on the odometer. I'm now at almost 52,000 km (~32,318 mi), as I drove mine every chance I got, which amounted to driving it daily to work and back as well as taking long trips all across the European continent for vacations and track days. The only time I don't drive it is between beginning of December and end of February unless the weather is dry and no salt on the roads like it is now... WHICH IS WHY I "UN-MOTHBALLED" IT FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK, W000TTT!!!

These cars are just begging to be driven at every turn and opportunity (pun intended!) It's a sin not to drive them, they are made from beginning to the end for it.

Well I see some of us are driving these cars and that was what I was wondering. I have debated on keeping the miles off of my car as much as possible but it is damn hard to do that. I want to drive it more but I also want to keep it as low mileage as possible. Then I ask myself why? I am 66 years old and I bought this car to drive and enjoy so maybe I need to drive it more and enjoy it as much as I can because you never know what life is going to dish out.

Please keep answering the original question also.

Not driving it is worse than driving it IMO. O-rings in the A/C system get hard and brittle due to non lubrication. My wife and I drive the ZL1 as much as possible. I also race it at Wanna-Go-Fast twice a year and SCCA Solo events every month!!!

Drive it and ENJOY IT!!!
