Good mail day today!

Received my new flat stick MGW shifter, Tick SS clutch line, Tick bleeder line, Goodridge SS brake lines, and ATE Type 200 fluid. Most everything from JDP! They were awesome and shipping was pretty quick as they are only a few states over.

And I have the clutch relocation kit from JDP as well, needing to be installed. And I have RP 75w90 to change the diff fluid and Redline D4 to change the tranny fluid. It'll be a long weekend. Luckily one of my friends has a 2 post lift so I'm hoping this should be relatively easy

Congrats. Despite the install (which isnt too bad, but tedious) the MGW makes a big difference, enjoy.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. I came from an S2000, which had an amazing stock shifter, so I'm looking forward to shortening and tightening this one up a bit

Nice package of parts there! I would love to get one of those MGW shifters but our dollar sucks so bad right now. Screw it, I'm gonna get one anyways! What color knob did you go with?

Hahaha!

Based on an earlier thread I found here, the stock knobs (for the retro stick and flat stick) are just plastic (which is the same as the OEM hurst knob). So I decided to buy the shifter from MGW with no knob, and I would get my own. This is what I got, and it's pretty sweet (and cheap), all aluminum so it's weighty. Feels good http://www.ebay.com/itm/371247723171...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

The flat stick and retro stick both have 3/8"-16 thread patterns, I verified that the eBay ball above fits on my flat stick. It is sleeved, not directly threaded 3/8-16, but it looks like it should work great.

Some people get the TSW shift knobs, but they're crazy expensive lol http://www.twmshiftknobs.com/

When I got my MGW. Shifter I got the shift knob from Epco. They've got tons to chose from and fit the threads with no modification.

Yeah I was looking at those too (they supply MGW with their knobs btw), however I kind of wanted a heavy metal one, which is why I went with the eBay one
