GPI max build under way

So I'm getting into this pretty good. The entire tear down went smooth. The oil cooler developed leak as soon as I got near the lines lol, so it is now deleted. Got the C5R timing chain, LS2 dampner, getting ready to order the converter that gpi recommends. Also will be hunting down a 391 rear here in the very near future. Already have all the bolt ons and corsa extreme. Picked up a mishimoto radiator as well as some BMR poly engine mounts. All arp bolts and installing a tru-cool 40k tranny cooler. Went with the trunion upgrade on the new rockers. Think that may cover most. Any other thoughts?

Oh man, I bet you are as excited as it gets. This car is going to be a monster. It's cool to see you are not rushing things. It is easy to get anxious and start goofing up. Ask me how I know lol.

Looking forward to the results. Good luck with everything and enjoy man!

Very excited! I'm a very detail oriented person. You should see my garage lol. All bolts are in bags and labeled. All harnesses are tapped and labeled. Detailed pic of where everything goes lol. This is my first LS build, but have built many small block chevys. Its been very fun so far. Everyone on here has been a huge help! Thanks and I cant wait to report back with results

make sure your tq wrench is accurate and read up on proper tq procedures for the heads...put lube under the nut not the washer...stripped head bolt sure way to ruin your day.

Good luck!

PEACE

For sure. I bought ARP bolt kit. Ive used them before. Clean all the factory oil off and like you said, use their lube only on the threads and the bottom of the head bolt
