The fact that we have a branch in our law enforcement that just waits around for you to screw up is pretty pathetic. Can we redistribute these forces to fight real crime please!!

Don't have to be rich to own a Camaro, but 40K for a loaded SS isn't exactly chump change, either. Still a pretty good deal, though. These cars look much better than many more expensive cars, and also outperform a good deal of them.

Yah I hate getting the "you must be making the big bucks" comments. I saved my money!!... but I think people are just jealous.
It did however make me notice what my friends said about the car which has been nothing but awesome, congrats, or Sweet now take me for a ride. Real friends want to share in the experience while others want to bring you down by being resentful. |

I've gotten that at car shows before.
When I tell them the payment ($290) they are always shocked. Rich, with a Camaro? Come on. If I was rich I'd be driving a Calloway Corvette.

I don't get rich, but most of my friends and people I meet at school think I'm loaded and can just toss cash at whatever I want. I remind them that is not the case, and if they want the car they can walk down to the recruiter's office like I did and start saving.

Idk man, my car cost 40k, im not rich, but I know a bunch of rich people who dont drive cars that cost that much.
I could say "you must be rich" to anyone who has children, each kid costs way more than a camaro. Or guys who hunt and fish, they have guns, a boat, a camp, camping equipment, time to spend on all that, etc. Everyone has a hobby, or a something else they spend a bunch of money on, I just choose to spend a little extra on my car than most people and have fun with it |

My grandpa had millions in oil stocks, and he drove an '85 Chevy pickup.

All it takes to drive a nice car is, to have someone else pay for it. Or be born wealthy, Or work hard to get educated and skilled at something, get a job, go to work, go to work, go to work. Have good credit. If you lose your job, work your but off to get another job. Keep going to work. I am so ready to be retired. I think I will go buy a lottery ticket. Then go to work.
