Well i got this installed and have couple of issues. 1st this will only work if i leave the stock amp plugged in . If I unplug the stock amp I get no sound at all. 2nd issue is that I'm only getting 3 channels of output on stock speakers. The front left is not playing but if I swap rca around on the amp it will play but I will lose an output on another speaker. But as I was driving to work they all worked for a litttle while then stopped again . Plus my fosgate amp is hotter than normal and the stock ba amp is extremely hot for the short amount of time it was playing. So I'm thinking this not compatible with the BA system, do anyone have any suggestions before I rip this out and put it for sale for the non ba guys

Hi Im planning on installing a Kenwood X450-4, Alpine SPR-60C and SPR-69s in my non BA 1ls. So from what I'm understanding I need the PAC AA-GM44 cut off the Line Out Converter connect it to a Kicker KISL 2 because the Kicker 09ZISL are apparently discontinued, run the RCA's to my amp and then speed wire from my amp to the Harness, solder the connections and I'm good to go? would you recommend wiring the rear speakers directly into the amp?

That's the same harness. I probably attached it to the LOC before I took the picture.

I'm so happy this thread is still alive. I need to purchase these harnesses and stuff asap before it can't be found any more.

I realize there are a few things required but to sum it all up for everyone who sees this thread (and possibly to make this a sticky) could you post a list of the required harnesses/any extra wiring we should have before we begin the project? If it's not too much trouble, just to give us a summary. Thanks ahead of time

I did all of this work 2 years ago, and don't recall anymore details than what I have already posted. I would have to re-read my notes, just like everyone else, to make my design. I posted everything you need to know, including wire colors and function.

If I split the wires into RCAs will I get high or low levels? I am planing to run this into a 3sixty.3 but the RCA input will only take low levels of 0.1 v - 2.0 v
