Gen7 Camaro
No, its not a typo. Hear me out before the ban process begins. Without a doubt, the gen5 body style is, IMO, one of the five best looking muscle cars ever built and currently one of the top 15 best looking cars on the planet. Its been widely successful because its exterior is the best blend between past and present. Since the 6gen has been released, I've read a lot of articles from "professionals" and even comments from people on this forum, basically saying that they didnt go radical with a new car design, because the current body style is still widely accepted. I like the 6gen design, but personally it looks like a watered down overly tweaked 5gen. I would have rather them went completely new, rather than what they did. My thing is, they cant keep this shape and design forever. Eventually its got to go. It's always hard to follow up a classic (which i believe the 5gen will become) Whenever they do decided to go all new and of course at this time its just speculation and assumption, do you think GM could actually follow up the great success of the Gen5 and assuming the 6Gen does well, with an all new design of the Camaro?
Because the question has to be asked sooner or later. How can GM top the Gen5? |

yeah the taillights seems out of place, and no it will not grow on me like the 2014+ camaro did because at least the 2014+ tailights coincides with the lines the 6th gen tails are just all over the place!

I'm far, far less concerned with how it looks than how it performs. Generally speaking, I have a soft spot for pretty much all the American muscle/sports cars. While I may not care for all them aesthetically, I can appreciate what they're trying to accomplish and the effort therein.

I am also disappointed in the 6th gen exterior. I wanted it to be more distinct from the 5th gen. I think GM should have used the 1970 Camaro as a model for the 6th gen design.

Like the Gen6 but agree this looks like an afterthought to the designers.

Gen5 is not going to be a "classic" ....... might have a "classic look & style" in 15 years or so, that's about it ....
