I installed a set of stainless power on Smitty's ZL1 and they fit great. Minor trimming of the belly pan is necessary...no big deal. I suppose you could space the thing but it still may get melted there...not worth the risk of catching on fire for a piece of plastic under the car.

Buy a spare belly pan and store it if it is a huge worry

I read some people did space out out the belly pan with kooks headers I think. Not a huge worry just missed my chance to get pfadt headers. I'd rather not cut it but I want a set of headers and these are a really great price.

honestly, it looks like the area that needs relief is already somewhat cut out and unfinished. One extra cut with a sawzall like cutter and take your time...you will see what I mean when you take off the pan and see where it needs cutting. You can make it look like it was never touched with some TLC.

We did an installation here at our facility and only had to trim the belly pan for clearance assurance. No cutting was needed. See the Pictures Below. Any questions please let me know.

that is funny...what is the difference between a "trim" and a "cut"? Great angle on the pic, stainless works! So, you have to remove a small part of the pan.

trim is when you remove material from the pan by cuting it away.

cutting is when you remove material from the pan by triming it away.

You can install these without a tune and run fine? Just get the CEL?
