Once again, I didn't actually do anything to it, physically. But I did buy her an amazing gift...again. My parts room is really getting stocked!

On my local Facebook Marketplace I found someone selling a brand-new-in-box-never-installed Circle D 245mm/5C Triple Disk 4000-4200rpm Pro Series Billet Torque Converter. I got it for $1100! If you also figure sales tax, I saved around $500. I can't wait to get this thing installed and retuned. Still have to get a trans cooler though.

The guy recently sold his 5th gen and bought a 6th gen, so he never got around to installing it. Lucky me

Dang right lucky you!! You're really gonna really love that converter if you have a big cam like I do. When I swapped out my 3200 for the 4500, oh boy did that make a huge difference!! Wow...

what i did today

Had put black stickers over the original chrome fender lettering. Wasn't working for me anymore. Just got some new all black letters. These also came with the Camaro colors emblem in place of the M. Wasn't what I ordered but I think I like it better this way. I know many don't care for the fender lettering at all but I think it pops on my inferno orange car.
Recently removed the nutsack shifter for this one too. Shifts so much better.

That looks cool! And I have the same shifter handle. It gets a lot of attention at the shows. Nicely done. Do you have a thin black pinstripe along the body lines? It looks like it in the pic, or is it just the shadow of the top of the fender. If it is a pinstripe, it looks killer!

Yes it is a pinstripe. Was on the car when we bought it. There is a small Chevrolet emblem in it also above the door handle. The shifter was so easy to put on too. The factory one seemed like you needed to hit the right spot to get it out of park. Hurst shifters are top of the line in my opinion. Worth the cost!
Thanks for the compliment. Actually got a Best in Class award this past Spring at a car show.

Installed my Elite Engineering oil catch can this morning. Its a nicely made piece in my opinion. Had one on my old 2002 Z06 so I know they work well too.

I sure love that orange paint Bobnoxious1... If theres one thing I would do if possible, Id flip my colors from white with orange stripes to orange with white stripes.

I went for a cruise down the Niagara Parkway to Fort Erie around 11am yesterday.

Due to construction/repaving I took a bit of a different route to get there.

So I make my right turn after watching a few cars go by 5 to be exact and three were Mustangs.

Then I notice a few more coming up on me in the distance.

To make a long story short by the time we got to Fort Erie I realized there were about 15-20 Stangs.

I pulled over and let the three stragglers catch the main body

After a few more turns we were on Garrison Road it is a 4 laner so they were all in the right lane.

I chose the left as there was no traffic and a whole bunch of the group pulled out behind me.

So I was pacing the horse parade

I pulled off and went to Wally World to gets some groceries.

BTW the fall leaves were beautiful.

Went half mile drag racing yesterday. Always a good time. It's fun to beat cars that are newer, make more power, and are automatic. Very nice owner, fun race.
