Normally I can think of something, in this situation I can’t think of anything. Call your local dealership and ask them if it’s something they have seen.

Maybe it might be possible to get to the latch from the front of the car through the grille? I know you can adjust the height of the latch up and down from that way, that's how we did mine when installing the custom hood, maybe a long big screwdriver or pry bar could unlatch it. Worth a try since there will be no tension on the cable. Good luck..

I would maybe start on the interior at the hood release...you may luck out and find that the cable broke at the handle. If not, I would go with 1JEWLD's suggestion and try to come in through the grill.

The area in front of the radiator is hard to get to because of the way the front bumper mounts and there's a shroud under the radiator. However, you may be able to get in better if you remove the two bolts on the bottom of the front bumper.

As a last resort, you could even try getting in through the driver's side wheel well.

Any update? Or has anyone tried to get in, without being able to just pull on the broken hood latch cable, from inside of the vehicle?
