The dumbass of the week award goes to…

Me! For the life of me I could not get to the passengers side ground bolt on the frame. Besides the huge clumps of wires running to the fuse box and other plugs in the way, I have three thick (about 1”) hoses running right past that area in the way and I could not move them enough to get a wrench on that bolt. The three hoses were held in place by a plastic hose organizer stacked on one another.

I called upon the Corona gods to ease my frustration and give me the strength to cope. They did and I did.

Getting on with it…. The top hose was the coolant hose for the supercharger. The other two hoses were the heater core hoses I just recently disconnected for the blend door bypass. Having found this I can now pull up the heater core hoses and drape them totally out of the way which allows me to move the supercharger coolant hose way up out of the way as well.

Beat that.

What's your engine setup? I see that you have a 2010 Camaro in your bio, but can't tell what you have. I'm assuming you installed some kind of supercharger on an SS. Is it automatic or manual?

Just the highlights. Whipple 2.9, Alky control 100% dual nozzle, Monster LT1 twin disc clutch, DSS aluminum drive shaft, Stage 3 KaotiK camshaft, MGW short shifter, Nick Williams Throttle Body…
