SoCal Camaro5 Camarovan to Camaro5Fest 5

With the announcement of Camaro5Fest 5 taking place in Baytown, Texas the first weekend of May 2014, I am very excited and I'm sure others are too. This will be my first fest and I'm sure its going to be huge. I'd like to organize a SoCal Camarovan to cruise to Texas and hopefully meet up with other Camarovans along the way. I'm sure we will have a big number of people coming from SoCal for this. Of course, details will be posted as the Fest rolls closer. For now, lets see how many we have interested in rolling to Fest

3. Comm17 and fam

I would imagine the 8 East to the 10 East. The 10 runs straight through Houston and Baytown is just East of Houston. If the north people wanted to head down to San Diego to meet up we could all just jump on the 8 East and go. Its all up for discussion though. I just wanted to get a thread up so us SoCal people could have a place to discuss it and start planning.

For Los Angeles people Interstate 10 all the way....For San Diego people, Interstate 8 connects with the 10 just outside of Phoenix area about 30 miles or so. I'm planning to go, but I'm not rolling with a big caravan...that will end up taking too long....I suggest figuring out stopping points and roll to those everyday, but a big group takes too much time for every stop along the way for gas, food, whatever...you'll already be driving for 2 10+ hour days to get there...no need to add a bunch more time to this...

Don't mean to sound negative but I am done with Camaro Fest, there is no love for us "Left Coasters". We will have to do our own Camaro Fest on the west coast.

I saw somewhere Trish had a few stops and route planned out. Drive 600 miles then call it a day. Think the first stop was just get to New Mexico, second was San Antonio, third Camaro5 Fest.

Shit we cant keep 10 cars together on a small cruz...getting gas eating bathroom breaks take so long with a large group. But we may start out with you but then its a cannon ball run
