Bugs Already!

I read in another thread about pollen being bad. Well, the pollen hasn't started in a big way here yet but the bugs have! Drove about 30 miles to run some errands and when I got back my car was covered in bug juice. I'm loving the 75 degree plus temps, but I think the bugs are loving it more!

Sooner or later all the stupid bugs will be dead and just the smart ones that get out of the way will be left.

Keep killing those bugs!

About all we can do about it is what the JUNKMAN said - keep plenty of wax on the front and at least the bugs will wash off fairly easily. Er, ah, hmm, at least thats what I _thought_ the JUNKMAN said.

We jsut got a lot of rain.....so the skeeters are now out in force!! and ya don't have to drive very far.....and the front of your car is covered in black...... just don't let them stay on for an extended peroid or the acid in their juices will start etching your paint.

It's pretty bad. The weather is really nice, but those damn love bugs are every where. If you drive through a swarm, any front facing surfaces are covered in black, thick bug guts. Probably best to not drive a garage queen if you can avoid it.

Yep! I agree with 'The Junkman'...I always keep the front of my cars treated with extra coats of Zaino.

Also, NEVER "scrub" them off...I like to thoroughly rinse the front with water, use a soft towel (I use the applicators offered from Zaino) with some detailing spray to remove and bugs, etc., from the front.

I live in eastern Arkansas in the Mississippi delta. Lots of rice growing and swampy areas and the bugs do love them some water.
