I have much respect for those light little bastards... always have... But let me be perfectly candid.. I would NEVER let a Mustang anywhere near my garage... Just how I feel. And that's okay!

Much respect to the enthusiasts open minded enough to own both and appreciate each one for their strengths. If I could afford having another car I'd consider adding a Boss 302 to the garage.

Stop smoking the dope, it's making you retarded.

5.0 liter converts into 302 cubic inches. Pushrod or not, the engine is the same size.

I have owned 4 Mustangs. 2 96's, a 98 and a 2005. I really did love the 96 Cobra with Side Pipes on it. I traded my 2005 Mustang for a Camaro SS. I love the body style and wouldn't give it up now.

I'm glad people can appreciate both. I do..., If I could afford both, I would probably have a Mustang too. Since I can't.., I'll just stick with what I have now.

Displacement wise, yes. But our 5.0 has DOHC, engine package is larger. I have no problem with how little room there is in the engine bay, I love opening the hood and seeing that monster engine filling up all the space.

For his complaining about busted knuckles, only guys that get manicures should be complaining. Real men show busted knuckles as a sign of pride, I wrenched my own car.

I am about as big a Camaro/Chevy fanboy as it gets, but I would take a 2013 > Mustang V8 in a second.

These cars are built in the same vein as our Camaros, for the same type of people (yes, I know...). I feel as if I am missing something by not having one. Then again, I also feel I need a Corvette to be complete lol.

Whenever I hear and see one of those newer flat-plane crank 5.0s drive by, it kills me a little inside. Most people cannot deny that the Mustang sounds freaking amazing, even the non-flat plane cranks. For anyone with any sense of muscle car pride, you should be glad these things are being made. Without the Mustang, where would the Camaro be now?

Both cars provide competition that makes each other a better version of themselves. I have always liked the looks of the mustang and the performance of the camaro. Love them both

2 of 4 buddies with Mustangs that won't leave me alone. Missing a Cona blue 2011 and Brandy wine coloured 86 Cobra.I did get to run that red Shelby on a closed street tho.
